A payment is money that leaves one of your bank accounts. On the API every payment debits the bank_account_id you send and creates an out document whose status you follow through webhooks or by reading the document. Pix can be paid in two ways. Asynchronously, you send the Pix key or BR code (the Pix copy-and-paste code) and Trio checks it while processing the payment. In two steps, you check the key or BR code first and pay with the resulting check_id; the same endpoint also pays a bank account directly. Besides Pix, you can check and pay boletos, utility bills, taxes and DARFs.
