Using Pix key

The Pix key contains the bank account information within the system, so receiving payments is as simple as sharing the key with users who want to send money to your account.

When using a Pix key, all deposits are considered unidentified since you don't know in advance who will make the payment, unlike when using QR codes.

Blocking unidentified deposits

Your account includes an option to block unidentified deposits, which prevents unexpected users from funding your account. You can enable this feature by checking in your account configuration:

When this option is enabled, Trio will automatically reject these deposits.

Allowing unidentified deposits

If you want to permit specific people to deposit using your Pix Key, we recommend keeping the "block unidentified deposits" option enabled while adding trusted users to your allow list.

This list can be accessed through the menu: Compliance > Allow list, or managed via API.

The allow list feature is not available for all accounts. To enable this feature, please get in touch.

Webhook events

To avoid overcommunication, we only send asynchronous communication using webhooks for the final stages.

Settled

This event will be triggered only if the user executes a payment to the Pix key informed. We'll create a collecting document that represents the pay-in transaction and notify you through webhooks with the category collecting_document and type settled.
